The International Seabed Authority is Hiring a Program Management Officer

The selected candidate will help advance the protection of the marine environment and the effective environmental management of activities in the Area by:

  • Providing technical and policy input into the development and implementation of the International Seabed Authority’s (ISA) environmental activities;
  • Coordinating expert workshops, stakeholder consultations, and technical activities related to Regional Environmental Management Plans (REMPs), environmental thresholds, and other environmental management measures;
  • Developing and implementing scientific projects that address priority knowledge needs, in collaboration with scientific partners and institutions.

Candidates must have at least five years of experience in global ocean governance, environmental management policies, and the science-policy interface, as well as experience working with international organizations and managing scientific projects.
